The Hotel
The Petit Hotel is a delightful turn-of-the-century Victorian property close to the Square at the heart of Martinborough Wine Village and adjacent to the Majestic Martinborough Hotel.
Set in the heart of this picturesque village, the Petit Hotel was built by Northern Ireland immigrant Adam Wright in 1907 and began its life as a hairdresser/tobacconist and sporting goods store. The property has been completely refurbished to provide boutique accommodation of the highest quality, with just four rooms each tastefully and luxuriously decorated in separate themes.
The character of the original building has been preserved by retaining original features such as the pressed tin ceilings, high ceiling studs, architraves, original wooden staircase and rimu floors. The hotel is un-manned, but your host is local and only a phone call away.
Petit Hotel combines the luxury and comforts of a grand hotel with the privacy and ease of your own home. A heritage building of great charm, Martinborough's Petit Hotel offers guests a choice of four rooms, each with en suite bathroom. All guests rooms are situated on the hotel's upper floor, affording fine views over Martinborough. In the upstairs lobby, guests are welcome to help themselves to a good book.
All rooms have:
32" Flat Screen TV | Freeview | Tea and coffee makers | Ironing boards & Irons | Electric Blankets | Hair Dryers | Showers | Fridges | DVD
