Te Kairanga Wines

Te Kairanga "tee-kigh-runga" - where the soil is rich and the food is plentiful

Te Kairanga is one of Martinborough's founding vineyards established over 20 years ago. In keeping with the pioneering spirit surrounding the vineyard, a number of Te Kairanga wines have hailed from Martinborough's history and that of its inhabitants dating back to 1879. Our own John Martin Reserve Pinot Noir, known and loved by many, is notably named after the founding father of Martinborough - John Martin himself. Likewise the Pinot Runholder is aptly named as a tribute to the runholders of the land back in time.

Te Kairanga is the perfect place to enjoy fine wine and warm hospitality.

During summertime (Sept to April) Available for tastings: from 10am - 4pm Monday and Tuesday, from 10am - 5pm Wednesday to Sunday. With its rustic and inviting surroundings, and intimate auditorium, the cottage is one of the most visited vineyard sites in Martinborough.
Winter hours of operation (May to October) Open 11am until 4pm Friday to Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday we are open by appointment only.

Make the most of our gorgeous outdoor picnic area with friends and family - byo picnics or purchase a range of deli style snacks on site to enjoy with a bottle of TK wine.

In the meantime, come on in and get to know us and our wine a little better.
